Heading down an incline on the far
western rim of the Lake, and with
the Hernshead Peninsula visible not
far off, is the Hernshead Boat Landing.
Like the other landings circling the Lake
it was converted to its current use as
a shelter. Its is a choice spot to take
in a spectacular view of the shoreline
and Central Park and City panorama beyond.
